yar is a Roblox game created by the group KOSMOS.
The goal of the game is to build a strong boat that can survive multiple obstacles, set in different maps. All players begin on the Earth world, and later unlock others like the Space world (soon).
yar was inspired by the classic "Build a Boat" games on Roblox, notably Build a Boat for Treasure. The game is in beta and new content is being added regularly.
Yar has officially launched and also received its first update! This update includes:
- Many new blocks, including the Balance Pad, Obsidian, and more!
- Two new cargo types, Uncontained Magma and Pressure Activated Bomb!
- New currency type: gems! These are now used to open crates!
- Building limit increased to 1,000 blocks!
- One new map, the Beach map!
- Level squish, which makes levels more meaningful!
- XP is also now gained on a "time-survived" basis rather than cargo!
